Terms & Conditions

• You must be a WorldPerks member to refer your friends into WorldPerks and the promotion. If you're not already a WorldPerks member, simply enroll now and return to this page to register.
• You and your friends must have a registered mailing address in Asia Pacific.
• You can refer both non-WorldPerks members and existing WorldPerks members who have not had any flight activity on Northwest or any of our airline partners since January 1, 2005.
• Existing WorldPerks members do not need to re-enroll into WorldPerks. Re-enrollment will delay receipt of any applicable Bonus Miles.
• Existing WorldPerks members with flight activity after January 1, 2005 are not eligible to be referred into this promotion, but can refer other friends.
• A person may be referred for this promotion only once. Registration into the promotion is required one (1) business day prior to flight departure or before September 15, 2006, whichever comes first.
• All qualifying activity must occur after registration but not later than September 30, 2006.
• Qualifying travel is a Friend's paid roundtrip travel in World Business Class or Economy Class on Northwest coded and operated flights from Asia to the U.S. (including Canada and Hawaii, excluding Alaska) or within Asia booked, ticketed and for travel completed on or before September 30, 2006.
• Roundtrip travel from Asia to the U.S. (including Canada and Hawaii, excluding Alaska) on Northwest Airlines must be booked in World Business Class (J, C, Z classes) to qualify for 7,500 Bonus Miles, Economy Class (Y, B classes) to qualify for 5,000 Bonus Miles. Select Economy Class (M, Q classes) qualifies for 2,500 Bonus Miles.
• Roundtrip travel within Asia on Northwest Airlines must be booked in World Business Class (J, C, Z classes) to qualify for 2,500 Bonus Miles, Economy Class (Y, B classes) to qualify for 1,500 Bonus Miles. Select Economy Class (M, Q classes) qualifies for 1,000 Bonus Miles.
• Mixed-class travel is not permitted.
• Qualifying use of nwa.com/asia for online reservation is a Friend's flight reservation booked with a ticket issued at nwa.com/asia for paid travel that is taken during the promotion period. Each record locator represents one reservation. If multiple referred friends are in one reservation, all friends listed in the reservation will earn the award. Only flight reservations made on nwa.com/asia and flown by the WorldPerks member registered as a Friend in this promotion qualifies for Bonus Miles.
• Qualifying Self-service Check-in is a Friend's check-in transaction at Self-service Check-in Kiosks located throughout Asia for paid flight reservations made within the promotion period. Bonus Miles will be awarded only once for an entire roundtrip portion of a trip.
• Qualifying E-mail subscription is a Friend's first subscription to Northwest Airlines Email Express for at least four consecutive months. Friends must not have earned any E-mail Registration bonus before to qualify for the bonus.
• E-service activities do not all have to be completed within the qualifying trip but friends must take a qualifying fight within the promotion period to be eligible for the Online booking and Self-service Check-in bonuses. E-Services activities must be completed within the promotion period.
• Both sponsor and friend will not qualify for the 'Refer a Friend' Bonus Miles if the referred friend has already enrolled/qualified in another Northwest/WorldPerks offer during the same promotion period.
• Sponsor earns the same Bonus Miles as the friend. Sponsor can earn up to 10,000 Bonus Miles per friend or a maximum of 100,000 Bonus Miles for this promotion.
• Employees of Northwest or travel agents are not eligible as sponsors for the promotion.
• The following fares do not qualify for the promotion: free, no value, infant, child, unpublished, WorldPerks free award travel, agency/industry discount tickets, Round-The-World and some other fares/tickets are not eligible for this promotion.
• Friends must claim WorldPerks miles using the account number registered for this promotion on the qualifying trip. Bonus Miles from this promotion are in addition to the regular credited flight miles, class of service bonus, and Elite tier Bonus Miles. Approximate credited flight miles can be found at nwa.com/asia. Bonus miles do not count toward Elite qualification.
• Allow 4-6 weeks upon completion of flight activity for Bonus Miles to be credited into your WorldPerks account. You will only receive Bonus Miles after your friend's qualifying flight miles have been credited to their account.
• Please ensure that your friends retain ticket copies or Trip Summary Receipts and boarding passes until the correct mileage is credited to both WorldPerks accounts.
• Contact your local WorldPerks Service Center and quote reference code GNWP BONUS RAF06.
• Northwest has the final authority on the interpretation of these rules.
